The Kings Coronation: Hosting A Party

The Kings coronation is going to be a grand occasion that many people will only experience on average once in their lives. We have got some top tips for you to give you the best party opportunity! Whether you feel like going all out and being big and fancy, or you're keeping it minimal and sticking to a small family gathering, this day will be special for you.

Set The Scene

Often, when there is any Royal celebration, the flags come out and so does the red, blue and white paint! This is the perfect chance for you to pick up some mini flags to stick around the house, and give out perhaps as guest favours. Get your little radio out to have some calming background music while everyone is in awe of how beautiful it looks on your tellys. Why not pick up this vintage looking telephone to sit on your side, it'll really set the mood for the Kings Coronation!

Food

This could be a good chance to show your cooking skills off! Why not serve some traditional British dishes. The dishes we all know and we all love that takes us straight back to childhood. Now, I'll leave main meal and snack ideas to you, but if you're looking for some proper British deserts for the Kings coronation, scones with cream and jam, a strawberry trifle! My lips are watering writing this.

Games

If you've got children to entertain, the best bet would be to have some fun party games for the whole family to get involved in! Nanoblock do a HUGE selection of toys to create and build. Like this guard which is really on theme! Or this classic telephone box, that kind of makes me think of Doctor Who. If there's a lot of you, there's even this Tower Bridge which you can all build together and celebrate once it's finally up!

If you're not feeling in a building mood, you can just pick up and board game and have it there ready to play when everyone is settling down!

This was just a basic list to get you started and prepared for your Kings Coronation party! Let us know how it goes on our socials - @zatuhome
