This regal creature has been meticulously hand crafted to capture the enduring charm of the original. Each piece is an impressive example of Steiff artistry with intricate airbrushing, institched facial features, and skilfully painted paws. CLAIRE'S LION is made from the finest honey and brown mohair - He has two tone mane around his head which is also at the end of his tail. His two tone eyes have been hand airbrushed around the edges and he has a hand stitched warm red nose surrounded with black which reaches around his mouth - and little whiskers. What a lovely animal for a famous Steiff family to own for many and many years - I am sure CLAIRE loved and adored him - lucky lion.
